9Marks Ministries and Cedarville University are pleased to present: "A Biblical Understanding of the Gospel"
Continuing from last year’s 9Marks Pastors Conference at Cedarville, this conference will focus on mark #3 of the 9 Marks of a Healthy Church, which is a biblical understanding of the gospel and its implications for ministry in the church.
The Gospel is "the power of God for salvation" because it points people to Christ. When a church neglects the grace found in this good news, its members will grow weary and they will be tempted to not evangelize others. A biblical understanding of the gospel clarifies our role in the mission that God has given to the church. The Gospel is given for those who don't know Christ, but it is equally important for those who do know Him. Join us to learn more about this life-giving message of Jesus Christ.
The conference will be led by the 9 Marks team which includes senior pastors Garrett Kell, Del Ray Baptist Church, Alexandria, VA, Greg Gilbert, Third Avenue Baptist Church in Louisville, KY, and Mike McKinley of the Guilford Baptist Church in Sterling, VA. Joining them are Dr. Daniel Akin, president of the Southeastern Baptist Seminary, and Dr. Jason Lee, Dean of the Cedarville University School of Biblical and Theological Studies.
