ACSI Music Festival
March 20, 2010 8:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M.
The ACSI Jr/Sr Music Festival is hosted by Cedarville University on Saturday, March 21, 2009. The Festival provides an opportunity for students to perform for adjudication in both vocal and instrumental categories.
Schools may enter students in large group (choir and band), ensemble (2-12 students), or solo performances. All music must be selected from the OMEA or KMEA state music lists. The ACSI Music Festival is not a contest, therefore student performances are adjudicated by qualified judges according to a rubric provided by ACSI. Performances are rated Superior, Excellent, Good or Honorable Mention and each performer receives a certificate and ribbon indicating their rating. Large groups receive one certificate for the entire group.
