The program is based upon the National Standard Curriculum Advanced Provider, prepared by the U.S. Department of Transportation. This course includes 200 hours of didactic instruction and laboratory practice, and as well as the opportunity for a variety of clinical experiences in various settings. After completion and the obtaining of a State Advanced Provider certification, students will be qualified to provide emergent care in a pre-hospital setting to their level of certification.
