2010-2011 Freshman Scholarships & Grants
On October 1, 2009, Cedarville University announced significant changes to its financial aid program. A six-month study of the needs of families resulted in a recommendation calling for increased financial aid awards and a greatly simplified program. And now, Cedarville's rigorous, Christ-centered education is more affordable than ever. The new awards will be phased in for new students beginning fall 2010.

National Scholar Awards honor outstanding academic achievement for those students identified as National Merit or National Achievement finalists or semifinalists.
Diversity Scholarships support the University's goal to have a campus community that reflects the body of Christ.
Academic-Program Scholarships are associated with select academic programs, may require an audition or interview, and are awarded by the faculty.
Athletic Scholarships are awarded to top-performing athletes on an individual basis by the coaches.
Church Matching Grants match gifts that a church contributes to a student and demonstrate our passion to partner with local churches in equipping students for lifelong service.
Donor-Funded Scholarships. Scholarship requirements vary according to each donor's request. Award selection is made by the Executive Director of Financial Aid and/or a scholarship committee. Donor-funded scholarships may underwrite the funding of a student's existing academic or need-based aid or, in some cases, are awarded in addition to other institutional aid, depending on the wishes of the donor. Completion of the FAFSA is required.
Tuition Remission Scholarships: Cedarville University offers two Tuition Remission programs for full-time faculty, staff, and administrators of both Cedarville University and other Christian universities.
Transfer Student Aid is awarded to transfer students based on academic performance at previous school(s).
