The Center for Teaching and Learning is seeking a student with technical writing and editing expertise. Proficiency in writing, editing, and documentation design as well as knowledge of Microsoft Office and HTML markup is required. Knowledge of Adobe software such as InDesign and Illustrator preferred. Tasks include working with the CTL team to implement instructional content for course websites, organizing Moodle setup, and implementing design templates to content. Students who are organized, extremely detail oriented, self-motivated, fast learners, upbeat, and amiable will fit well in the CTL.

Student Instructional Designer

The student instructional designer will work closely and collaboratively with our staff instructional designer(s) and a variety of professors from a variety of disciplines to analyze, design, and evaluate instructional solutions and to assist other CTL staff members in developing and implementing instructional solutions. Common tasks include researching best practices and emerging trends in instructional design and educational technology; creating plans for instructional solutions; assisting subject experts and CTL staff in producing instructional solutions; organizing and developing content and proofreading and editing tasks for materials to be presented in a course.
