Student Event Assistant

SPRING 2016 - EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY! The Event Services Student Assistant has responsibilities in the following areas: - Work in the Event Services office, which includes but is not limited to: answering phones and voicemails, filing, prepare and hang signs in academic buildings, process work orders, working with a conference or event (registration, needs, welcoming guests, preparing rooms), using and monitoring administrative event sites for certain events, send out correspondence, and other administrative tasks as assigned. - Drive the University fleet vehicles (valid state and University Driver’s license is required) - Assist the Event Manager with the before, during and after duties as it pertains to a conference or event that the Event Manager is working on. - Complete other duties as assigned by the Event Manager that you work for. A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 is required for employment. Underclassmen are preferred.
