Student Event Assistant

The Student Event Assistant will coordinate conferences and events for off-campus and on-campus groups and the use of university facilities. Components of this coordination will include managing the registration process for all conferences and events, creating and updating all conference and event websites, updating and maintaining volunteer system, assisting in conference and event services promotion, client communication, volunteer recruitment, coordination of support services, and internal communication. Duties include: ~ Coordinate conferences and events for external groups as well as on-campus planned events (services, work orders, requests....) ~ Assist with registration & planning for campus-planned events ~ Participate in other department-sponsored events and with departmental functions as needed A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 is required for employment. Underclassmen are preferred.
Estimated Wage: $8.10
