Event Services Student Assistant

The ES Student Assistant shall serve as support staff to the Event Services assist Event Services team as needed. The student assistant will work 8-10 hours per week. Generally, the assistant will work his/her hours during normal business hours (Monday-Friday 8:00AM – 5:00 PM). Student employees are expected to adjust their work schedule if event demands should change; however every effort will be made to create an advance schedule. Responsibilities: The ES Student Assistant has responsibilities in the following areas: 1. Work in the ES office, which includes but is not limited to: answering phones and voicemails, updating and creating aspects of the Cedarville Connect e-newsletter, help maintain e-newsletter database, help to manage graphics and communication of road sign, working with a conference and event as needed (registration, needs, welcoming guests, preparing rooms), using and monitoring administrative event sites for certain events, send out correspondence, and other administrative tasks as assigned. 2. Assist the Event Managers with particular duties as it pertains to an event or conference. 3. Complete other duties as assigned by the Event Manager that you work for.
