Custodian - Physical Plant

This is a full-time, twelve-month, non-exempt position that reports to the area supervisor. The purpose of this position is to effectively care for the cleanliness of the assigned areas and report maintenance issues needing repair. Duties include vacuuming offices, hallways, and classrooms, cleaning glass doors, desktops, and mirrors, processing lost and found items, and making minor repairs or reporting to maintenance any problems noticed. Qualified applicant must have a high school diploma or GED and general knowledge of custodial work. Some experience is preferred. Applicant must be able to lift, perform routine movements with arms, hands, wrists, and legs; move and carry objects up to 75 pounds; and work in conditions with routine discomforts such as moderate heat, cold, moisture, and noise. Duties require exposure to chemical substances. Work requires visual ability for accuracy and neatness. Flexible hours, including some weekends, are required. Dean's Assistant, School of Pharmacy - Academic Division

This is a full-time, twelve-month, non-exempt position that reports to the Dean of the School of Pharmacy. The purpose of this position is to provide support to the dean by being responsible for secretarial duties, office management, and administrative assistant duties. The essential functions of this position include scheduling all appointments and committee meetings; creating database and file systems; assisting in the development of reports; advising students; preparing adjunct and overload contracts; assisting the dean in budget planning, tracking, and analysis; and assisting the dean in coordinating, planning, and executing faculty development programs. Qualified applicant must have two years of college experience, BA or BS preferred; experience in an office setting is necessary; possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral; the ability to hand confidential information; and must possess excellent interpersonal skills. Physical requirements include the ability operate a computer effectively and possess the ability to copy, file, hear, speak, listen, and communicate with a friendly, positive, helpful attitude.
