Ministry Overview

The Master's Mission is a training and sending organization for missionaries wanting to start a new work in relatively unreached areas. The training base is situated on 1,500 acres of densely wooded mountains with a lake and water falls. On-site training facilities include an 8,000 sq. ft. training center and mechanical shop, a quarry with rock crusher and sorter, horse and cattle barn, and goat pens.

Typical Day of Ministry

  • Breakfast / devotions with staff and missionary candidates.
  • Work projects — may include (but not limited to) clearing mountain ridge for an airstrip, radio tower maintenance, mechanical shop maintenance, auto mechanical and body work projects, welding projects, etc.
  • Lunch with staff and missionary candidates.
  • Work projects continue — may include (but not limited to) painting and staining boat docks and buildings, digging and pouring foundations, clearing for new family and youth camping area, building retaining walls/posts for pond, seeding and fertilizing, road work, etc.
  • Dinner / devotions with staff and missionary candidates.
  • Evenings — possible opportunities to minister in local churches and in the Native American community can be arranged based on interest and schedules.

Costs

$300 per person

This cost is based on a team of 8 students and covers housing, meals, and transportation.

You can ask your church or youth group to help support your costs but, unfortunately, they will NOT be able to receive a tax-deductible receipt. Funds received over and above the support needed by a team member are non-refundable and will be considered overage. Overage will be put directly into the team fund as a whole.

Dates

You will leave campus Saturday, February 28 at 8:00 a.m. and return Saturday evening, March 7.
