Ministry Overview
Urban Impact is an inner-city ministry dedicated to helping the unreached people groups of New York City come to Christ. The mission of Urban Impact is to minister to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of Jews, Muslims, and unreached immigrant groups from the former Soviet Union, Africa, and Asia.
Typical Day of Ministry
- 8:00 a.m. Breakfast
- 9:00 a.m. Construction project at ministry facility
- 12:30 p.m. Lunch
- 1:30 p.m. Ministry training session with staff
- 5:00 p.m. Dinner with missionaries
- 6:00 p.m. Assist with ESL for Africans or Pakistanis
- 8:00 p.m. Lead VBS program African/Bengali/American youth
- 9:00 p.m. Assist with ESL at the Muslim Center
Cost
$630 per person
This cost is based on a team of 8 students and covers housing, meals, and transportation.
You can ask your church or youth group to help support your costs but, unfortunately, they will NOT be able to receive a tax-deductible receipt. Funds received over and above the support needed by a team member are non-refundable and will be considered overage. Overage will be put directly into the team fund as a whole.
Dates
You will leave campus Saturday, March 1 at 8:00 a.m. and return Saturday evening, March 8.
