The Master's Puppets - Bible School Programming Information

From Sesame Street to Sunday school, puppetry has proven to be an incredibly effective teaching tool. The Master’s Puppets use puppetry as well as a variety of other teaching methods in their programs.

Throughout the week, the team will conduct five, three-hour programs complete with songs, crafts, games, and of course, puppets! Furthermore, all the materials for the Bible school program are provided by the Master’s Puppets. The two things that the team will not come equipped with are refreshments and the number of "counselors" (volunteers from your church) that are necessary to conduct an effective Bible school.

Because the Master’s Puppets would have the main teaching responsibility in the Bible school, your church members would have a greater opportunity to concentrate on building relationships with the children who attend. Many who volunteer as counselors have enjoyed this unique variation from a typical Bible school program. Some of the responsibilities of a counselor include:

  1. Reinforcing through guided conversation the main truths taught each day.
  2. Listening to the children say Bible memory verses.
  3. Helping the children during craft time.
  4. Encouraging and assisting during game time.

Each church that hosts the Master’s Puppets would be responsible for providing housing and meals for the team throughout the week. The University's suggested Bible school honorarium is $700 to help defray the cost of materials and traveling expenses.

We look forward to the possibility of serving with you.
