Touring Teams - HeartSong

The department of HeartSong touring teams selects, equips, and sends out music teams for Cedarville University. The teams develop and maintain relationships for the University by providing music programs for external and internal settings. A love for ministry, as well as skills for ministry, is developed as HeartSong teams are trained to serve while presenting God's truth through music.
There are three HeartSong teams that travel from the Division of Christian Ministries. Each team is an eight member ensemble consisting of vocalists, keyboard players, a guitarist, a percussionist, an auxilary instrumentalist, and a sound technician. They travel weekends during the school year and have a ten-week summer commitment. All the teams present a variety of contemporary music and traditional gospel songs along with testimonies, Scripture, and congregational songs. They desire to serve and are flexible in adjusting each program to fit every individual ministry opportunity.
