Cedarville University and Pioneer College Caterers offer a selection of six meal plans to better serve the students of Cedarville University.
The Full 21 Meal Plan
Total Cost: $1,163.00 per semester
Provides the opportunity to enjoy up to 21 meals served in the dining hall on a weekly basis.
The Block 220 Meal Plan
Total Cost: $1,163.00 per semester
Entitles students to 220 meals per semester. The benefits ... meals are counted by the semester offering greater flexibility, and friends and family can eat on this plan (up to 4 guest meals per meal period, i.e., lunch).
The Block 210 Meal Plan with $40 Chuck's Bucks
Total Cost: $1,163.00 per semester
Entitles students to 210 meals per semester plus $40 in Chuck's Bucks to spend in the Hive or Vecino's Coffee ... all the benefits of the Block 220 with the flexibility of Chuck's Bucks.
Note: the above block plans do not provide three meals per day for the entire semester.
The Partial 14 Meal Plan
Total Cost: $1,050.00 per semester
Provides the opportunity to enjoy up to 14 meals served in the dining hall on a weekly basis.
The Block 180 Meal Plan
Total Cost: $1,050.00 per semester
Entitles students to 180 meals per semester. The benefits ... meals are counted by the semester offering greater flexibility, and friends and family can eat on this plan (up to 4 guest meals per meal period, i.e., lunch).
The Block 170 Meal Plan with $40 Chuck's Bucks
Total Cost: $1,050.00 per semester
Entitles students to 170 meals per semester plus $40 in Chuck's Bucks to spend in the Hive or Vecino's Coffee ... all the benefits of the Block 180 with the flexibility of Chuck's Bucks.
Note: the above block plans do not provide 2 meals per day for the entire semester.
Special Notes:
- All meal plans entitle students to 25 exchange meals per semester in the Hive. Exchange meals are available 11:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and are counted in place of a cafeteria meal. These are not additional meals but part of each meal plan.
- Unused meals for all plans are non-transferable from one semester to the next.
- Meal plans cannot be changed after the 100% drop/add period.
- Under the Block Plans, you will be charged for a meal every time you enter the dining hall even if it is just to have a Pepsi and to sit and talk or study. Under the 21 & 14 meal options, 'seconds' are allowed, i.e. entering the dining hall for a second time during a single lunch period has no impact on your total available meals.
Chuck's Bucks
Purchase Chuck's Bucks and enjoy the convenience of using your declining balance account for purchases at Chuck's, the Hive and Vecino's Coffee. These accounts are available to all members of the Cedarville University community as follows:
Resident & Commuter Students
Purchased during the first 3 days of each semester and reflected on the student's account or purchase at the Hive or food service office with cash or check.
Faculty & Staff
Purchased at either the Hive or the food service office.
Declining balance accounts can be used in Chuck's, the Hive or Vecino's Coffee and will be offered as follows reflecting a 10% discount.
