CCCU Technology Conference 2006

General Information

Housing

Attendees are encouraged to consider staying in campus housing during the conference. Each residence-hall room is air-conditioned and is equipped with a computer connected to the campus network, so participants will have full access to the network (over 150 software applications plus Internet access).

Residence hall rooms will be available beginning on Tuesday afternoon, May 30. Rooms must be vacated by noon on Saturday, June 3.

Attendees wishing to stay in a motel rather than on campus are encouraged to check with the following motels for Cedarville corporate rates. The first hotel listed is in Cedarville, less than a mile from campus. The other motels are located in Springfield at the intersection of Interstate 70 and Ohio 72 (about ten miles from campus):

Travel

The closest airports to Cedarville are Dayton (DAY) and Columbus (CMH). The drive to campus is about 45 minutes from DAY and about 90 minutes from CMH. Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide airport shuttle service. If you would like to share a rental car with another attendee, let us know on your registration form. We will do our best to get you linked up with someone who has a similar flight schedule.

Conference Attire

"Business Casual" dress is appropriate for the conference sessions (no ties required). Outdoor temperatures in late May typically run from 65 to 75 degrees during the daytime, with an occasional warm day in the low 80's. It is advisable to bring a light jacket for the evening events.

Dress for the Wednesday and Thursday evening events is casual.
