About

All CU counselors are professionals with graduate degrees in counseling or social work. Each is licensed to counsel by the Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board of the state of Ohio. We are committed to helping students by applying the principles of God's Word to the counseling relationship, recognizing that true and lasting change occurs with His enablement.

Counseling Services helps students work through a broad range of issues.  Some common struggles include abuse, eating disorders, relationship problems, depression, anxiety, family issues, pornography addiction, same sex attraction etc.  When the problem involves the potential need for medication or it effects a student’s physical health, we work closely with University Medical Services' doctors, nurses and nutritionist to address those needs.  Our desire is to help every student who comes to us because what is important to them is important to us.
