Campus Security - Requesting Routine Assistance
To request routine assistance from Campus Safety, please contact our office at 7992 during normal business hours on weekdays or contact the university switchboard by dialing 0 from 8 a.m. to 12 midnight daily. After midnight, or at anytime you do not get a response from the aforementioned numbers, dial 999 (refer to phone listing section of this brochure for additional details). During the summer months, the switchboard operates on weekdays only from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Routine requests include:
- door openings
- vehicle assists (such as jump starts and lockouts)
- vehicle registration and parking assistance
- reporting maintenance problems after normal business hours and on weekends and holidays
- requesting an officer to take an incident report for non-emergency situations
