Campus Security - Fire Safety and Prevention
The university maintains smoke and fire alarms in residence halls as required by NFPA, state, and local fire regulations. Newer resident halls constructed after 1990 (this includes Willetts Hall north and south, Brock Hall, McChesney/McKinney, Johnson/St. Clair and Murphy/Rickard Halls) have sprinkler systems installed throughout the buildings, including each residence hall room. Campus Safety officers are trained to assist the Cedarville Township Volunteer Fire Department in building evacuations during fire drills, fire alarms, or other emergencies.
