Camp Information

Who?

Christian students entering 10th through 12th grades, or incoming freshmen to Cedarville University, who are considering nursing or other health-related professions.

What?

At Nursing Camp, you will have hands-on experiences in Cedarville's fully-equipped nursing lab, tour area hospital facilities, talk to nursing professionals, meet other Christian students who are interested in nursing, and enjoy fun activities together.

When?

June 16-20, 2008 (final deadline for registration is June 9, 2008)

Register and check into residence halls between 3-5 p.m. on Monday. Camp concludes at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. All campers must be picked up by 2:30 p.m. An additional fee of $15.00 per hour will apply for any later departures.

PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to accommodate any early arrivals/late departures for any camp students. Please adjust your schedule accordingly.

Where?

Nursing Camp sessions will take place in the state-of-the-art labs and classrooms of the 95,000-square-foot Engineering, Nursing, Science Center.

Cost?

The $400 registration fee includes all meals, housing, field trips, activities, supplies, and a camp shirt.

What to Wear?

Modest casual dress including blue jeans, shorts, and t-shirts are acceptable for Nursing Camp activities. Shorts should be no shorter than halfway between the top of the knee and top of the thigh. Exposed midriff style shirts are not allowed.

For the hospital field trip, please plan to wear nice slacks or skirt (no shorts or jeans).
