Camp Information

Who?

Christian students entering 10th through 12th grades, or incoming freshmen to Cedarville University, who are considering medical careers.

What?

At Premed Camp you will enjoy hands-on lab experiences, field trips, presentations by health practitioners, an introduction to biomedical ethics, and team presentations.

When?

June 16-20, 2008 (final deadline for registration is June 9, 2008)

Register and check into residence halls between 3-5 p.m. on Monday. Camp concludes at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. All campers must be picked up by 2:30 p.m. An additional fee of $15.00 per hour will apply for any later departures.

PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to accommodate any early arrivals/late departures for any camp students. Please adjust your schedule accordingly.

Where?

Premed Camp sessions will take place in the state-of-the-art labs and classrooms of the 95,000-square-foot Engineering, Nursing, and Science Center.

Cost?

The $400 registration fee includes all meals, housing, field trips, activities, supplies, and a camp shirt.

What to Wear?

Modest casual dress including blue jeans, shorts, and t-shirts are acceptable for Premed Camp activities. Shorts should be no shorter than halfway between the top of the knee and top of the thigh. Exposed midriff style shirts are not allowed.

For the medical school field trip, please plan to wear nice slacks or skirt (no shorts or jeans).
