Eileen Armour

Eileen Armour came to BWI after having spent fourteen years in a public library system gaining experience in both circulation and technical services. Eileen joined BWI in 1999 as a Vendor Coordinator and quickly climbed the ranks, becoming Manager of the Purchasing Department in July 2001, and entering the Sales force in August, 2002.

 

Nancy Cheney

Nancy Cheney

Nancy Cheney joined BWI in 1994 as the third sales representative-one of the other two was her husband! Between them, they covered two-thirds of the United States to spread the good word about a terrific company. A fifteen month "retirement" in 1999-2000 came to an end when Nancy took a position with EBSCO, where she worked for eighteen months before returning to BWI. Nancy also spent some of her earlier work career with both Yankee Book Peddler and OCLC!

 


Sara Bushong

Sara Bushong

Sara Bushong is an Associate Professor and Head Librarian for the Curriculum Resource Center, University Libraries at Bowling Green State University. She earned a BME in Music Education from BGSU, an ME in Library and Educational Media from BGSU, and an MLS from Kent State University. She has been a music teacher, school librarian and previously worked in the Curriculum Resource Center as a library associate. In addition to her duties for University Libraries she serves as an instructor in the English Department for ENG 342: Literature for Young Children (undergraduates) and in the School of Teaching and Learning for EDTL 680: Information Literacy for Teaching and Learning (graduate students).

 

Dr. Gary Lare

Dr. Gary Lare

Gary Lare is the head of the Curriculum Resources Center at the University of Cincinnati and teaches courses in the College of Education. He received his B.S.Ed., M.Ed., and Ph.D. from Kent State University in Ohio. His graduate work was in the area of curriculum and instruction with an emphasis in educational media and technology. In addition to authoring the first and second editions of Acquiring and Organizing Curriculum Materials: A Guide and Directory of Resources, Dr. Lare has co-authored two other books, volumes I and II of Audiovisual Equipment and Materials. His books are all published by Scarecrow Press. In his spare time, Gary performs as a ventriloquist, and he is seen in the picture with his good friend, Dudley.

 

Debra Mallonee

Debra Mallonee

Debra Mallonee began her career as a music teacher in the Centerville (Ohio) and Fairborn (Ohio) school districts and has also taught language arts. She has worked at the state Department of Education in the area of institutional accreditation. At Cedarville University, in addition to teaching courses in young adult literature, she is the Director of Teacher Education Program and has coordinated preparations for the Spring 2006 re-accreditation visit by the state Board of Education.
