Geology Conference

Frontiers in Creation Research

August 7, 2008

The Second Conference on Creation Geology was held in conjunction with the BSG at the Green Tree Radisson Hotel in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The meeting was held on August 7th, 2008, immediately following the conclusion of the 6th International Conference on Creationism. "Frontiers in Creation Science" was chosen as the theme. The BSG set aside an entire afternoon session for the geology-related talks. Five talks were presented and make up the 2008 proceedings.

Geology Education for the Future

July 26-28, 2007

Geology Education for the Future is the theme for a new conference designed to gather together the young earth creation geology community. All young earth creation geologists and earth science teachers are urged to attend. Technical and education sessions will be held on the first two days of the conference where professionals can present research, get feedback on new ideas, and develop collaborative relationships with one another. Time is planned for a local geology field trip and group discussion and interaction. General sessions will be held on the last day of the conference. General sessions will be open to the broader public and will cover topics that some professional participants may already be familiar with.

This conference is being jointly sponsored by Cedarville University and the Creation Research Science Education Foundation (CRSEF) of Columbus, Ohio. We are seeking other sponsors that can help underwrite the costs of the conference and can contribute toward honorariums for the general session speakers.

Although the conference has already taken place, the proceedings are still available online.
