Pulse: How many full-time workers in the copy center??
Copy Center: We have two, Jeff Lee and Cindy McDaniel. We also have four students who work for us.
Pulse:Tell me a little about Cindy.
Copy Center: She is one busy lady. She and her husband David have 4 children, two of whom are students at the University. She has many interests including sewing and painting but right now just does a lot of cooking. She is very hospitable and entertains University students in her home just about every Sunday for dinner and fellowship.
Pulse:Tell me a little about Jeff.
Copy Center: Jeff's hobby is riding motorcycles but he is a carpenter too. He built Cathy Hallam's Habitat House on the south end of Cedarville. Jeff drinks Pepsi non-stop all day long according to his co-worker Cindy. Jeff does not like water, as it has no taste. (hey Jeff, now there is Fruit 2-O which is water WITH taste!!) Jeff was in an accident recently with his truck, and totaled it. He was not injured, thankfully, and he has a new truck.
Pulse: How many prints do you do per year??
Copy Center: 5 million.
Pulse: Is the printing you do limited to the University only?
Copy Center: No!! We are open to the public. Our hours are 7 a.m. - 9 p.m. Monday-Friday during the academic year.
Pulse: Give me some examples of the type of printing you do.
Copy Center: We print bulletins and other miscellaneous items for churches in the area. Seven churches have accounts with us. We also print forms for the State Highway Patrol and the Greene County Sheriffs Department. We print things for the Jamestown Lions Club and the Cedarville Opera House. We print for about 20 local businesses including restaurant menus. We also do business cards and posters.
Pulse: Do you print wedding invitations??
Copy Center: Yes!! We could have as many as 3 to 4 people A DAY come in to look at our wedding book. Last week we did 3 full sets of wedding invitations.
Pulse: Can a person save money by doing their wedding invitations here??
Copy Center: Absolutely. What would cost $30 at Kinko's would cost $10 here.
Pulse: What about scrapbooking??
Copy Center: Lots of people come in for scrapbooking paper and all our paper is acid-free. We have many colors available.
