Kelly Willetts
  1. What is your favorite Bible passage...and why? This is such a great question. My favorite passage is the story of Joseph...Genesis 37-47ish...I feel like his whole life is unique and yet like so many at the same time. It's been great for me in my life to realize how God is there in the darkest times...God is a rescuer.
  2. Where do you like to go on vacation...or what do you do to relax? The beach or the big city...I would LOVE to go to the tropics...REALLY tropic - like the Indian Ocean tropic...I also love New York City and Philly and Chicago...
  3. Tell us about your family. My parents are beautiful people, married 27 years in October, and love each other as much as they did back in the day. They love the Lord and serve teaching Sunday school at our tiny church in West Liberty, Ohio. I have a brother, he is 23 and is planning on returning Emmaus Bible College in Iowa in the fall to finish out his degree in Graphic Design. He also loves the Lord and wants nothing but to serve Him in anything he does. I really love my family. We have all been really close my whole life. My NEW HUSBAND (August 6!) Jeremy Willetts is my new addition to my family...he is a Senior at Cedarville University--studying Pre-seminary Bible/Youth Ministry. We're hoping to minister together at a church in the future, he really has a passion for ministry and family.
  4. Willing to share an embarrassing moment...or funny story? Well, I have been pooped on by a bird twice. Once I was on a picnic (a date) and yeah...the guy was freaking out and didn't want to touch it...(which by the way--really annoying--didn't work out, haha) and the second time was on my way into McDonalds on the way to OneDay in Sherman, TX. We wouldn't be showering for about 4 days when we were down there, and I got pooped on like 2 hours after we showered. It's ridiculous, I must have a target on my head!
  5. What is your favorite musical group? and your favorite song? I LOVE Switchfoot. I actually adore them. :-D Steven Curtis Chapman is also a huge favorite of mine, since I was a little girl. I met him in Ponderosa once--in Xenia no less. Also--I have to say Bethany Dillon. I grew up with her and her older bother and I were great friends. Beth is a beautiful girl with a beautiful heart, and she writes like C.S. Lewis but with music. My favorite song...whoa...what a question. I have to say "Much of You" by Steven Curtis Chapman. It's the cry of my heart.
  6. What toppings do YOU put on a pizza? Pepperoni, onions and cheese :-D
