
Learn How to Create or Edit an Appointment
To Create An Appointment...
- Click on the sign up link on the Writing Center homepage
- The CedarInfo page will pop up. Log in.
- If you've never signed up for an appointment before, be sure to register first, following the link at the top left corner. If you've already registered, skip to step #5.
- Once you've registered, you can access the online schedule (and if you've registered previously, it will automatically appear).
- On the schedule, click on the box that corresponds to the date & time you wish to meet with a consultant. Please note: you may only sign up for one 30-minute session per day unless you're a student in a 3000- or 4000-level course AND have a paper longer than 10 pages. In that case, you may sign up for an hour session by clicking on two consecutive 30-minute sessions.
- An appointment form will pop up. It is vital that you fill this out completely, especially including whether your professor has required this session and whether you need us to send a report to him or her.
- Click on "Save." (If you don't do this, you won't have an appointment!)
- You've done it! You will automatically receive an email reminding you of your appointment later on. If you realize later that you need to change your appointment, see below.
To Delete An Appointment...
- After logging on to the system from our website (see #1-#3 above), click on your appointment on the online schedule.
- Your appointment form will pop up. Scroll down to the bottom of that form.
- Click on the "Delete" box.
- Click on "Modify."
- That's it! You now can make a new appointment at a different time.
