Pamela Diehl Johnson (Dean)

Dr. Pamela Diehl Johnson is in her fourth year as the Dean of the School of Social Sciences and Human Performance .

Johnson, who has been at the institution since 1974, guides the departments of Exercise and Sport Science, Athletic Training, Education, Psychology; and Social Work, Criminal Justice, and Sociology. She also oversees the Yellow Jacket athletics program as well as Campus Recreation and Facilities.

Johnson is recognized as one of the foremost authorities in NAIA women's tennis. She completed a 30-year career in 2006 as head coach of the Lady Jackets and assumed the role as the program's Associate Head Coach. Johnson was honored for her longtime contributions to women's tennis by being inducted into the NAIA Hall of Fame in May, 2004. She was inducted into the Cedarville University Athletic Hall of Fame in 1996.

Johnson is a 1970 graduate of the University of Dayton. She earned her master's degree (1971) and Ph.D. (1974) from The Ohio State University. Pam and her husband, Cliff, reside in Cedarville.

 

Nancy Ranger

Nancy Ranger began serving as the Dean's Assistant for the School of Social Sciences and Human Performance in 2000. She has also worked in the Cashiers and Registrar's Offices and as Administrative Assistant for the Athletic Department. She has been with CU since April 1988.

Nancy enjoys reading, music, spending time with family and friends, and is an avid Michigan football fan. Of course she also enjoys cheering on the CU Yellow Jackets. Nancy is single and resides in Cedarville.
