Does Choosing a Christian College Mean Settling for a Second-Rate Academic Experience?

October 7, 2013

Most Christian parents are concerned and want their students' faith and values to be strengthened (not undermined) when they head off to college.

But, when it comes time to make that critical college choice, some express hesitance about Christian college options. They wonder if the academic experience will measure up to what their student might receive at one of the Ivy’s or at a major research university.

On Monday, October 14 at 8 p.m. EDT, Cedarville University will host another FREE parent webinar and take on that tough question: "Does choosing a Christian college mean settling for a second-rate academic experience?"

This panel discussion, featuring Cedarville University faculty, will be hosted by high school guidance counselor, Steve Wynn, who works closely with students and parents as they go through the college decision process. Challenged with tough questions from Steve (and questions parents submit during the presentation), the panel will take on the concern about academic quality and offer perspectives you may not have considered.

We firmly believe the value of Christ-centered education is found not only in strengthening of a student’s faith but also in the rigor and preparation of the academic experience.

Register to join us on Monday, October 14 from 8pm-9pm (EDT)! Reserve your spot today and come prepared to ask the hard questions!
