Call for Papers
Proposals for conference papers are being accepted until April 5. We invite research projects among a broad spectrum of topics. Employment of traditional ethnographic and qualitative research projects provides the common thread for conference papers, as they relate to the broader domain of educational research.
Proposals will be peer-reviewed among three strands: Results of qualitative and ethnographic research studies, qualitative research methods, and pedagogical issues in qualitative research.
Formats include oral presentations and poster sessions. The oral presentations will be in 20-minute segments, with the university providing PowerPoint, overhead projectors, and/or other multi-media facilities for presenters. The poster presentations will be in 30-minute segments with the university providing posters for presenting summaries of the research projects.
Ample and affordable hotel lodging is available within a 15-minute drive of campus. In addition to materials, conference registration includes lunch as well as continental breakfasts.
The EQRE conference has a long tradition of reputable quality, including previous hosting institutions being SUNY at Albany, Duquesne University, University of Massachusetts, and Teachers College, Columbia University.
Presenters, both in oral and poster formats, may submit their written papers for journal publication consideration in the printed, peer-reviewed Journal of Ethnographic & Qualitative Research.
