Event Information

Who?

Students in 3rd through 6th grade and their Sunday School teachers or sponsors!

What?

A one-day, high-energy, event that includes music, videos, games, hands-on activities, lunch, and one-on-one time with university students. All of these activities converge to encourage kids to not be a Sink’n Scallywag, but to Follow the Cap’n to Stay Afloat and learn that there is long lasting treasure to those that obey the ultimate Cap’n, Jesus Christ.

When?

Two great Saturdays in 2008:
April 12 and October 11

Registration is from 9:00-10:00 a.m. in the Dixon Ministry Center.
Event concludes at 4:00 p.m.

Where?

Cedarville University, Cedarville, Ohio (Click here for directions to campus)

Cost?

$20 per person includes lunch and all activities. Training seminars for leaders are available throughout the day. Add $5 for a Junior Jam T-shirt.

What to Wear?

Students should wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Since the weather maybe cool, be sure to bring a jacket as some activities will be outside!

What to Bring?

Please ask students to bring as little as possible! There is very limited space available to store personal belongings

Sponsors?

At least one sponsor should accompany students to Junior Jam. Sponsors will enjoy meeting the University student counselors assigned to your group and may participate in all of the activities of the day.

In addition, faculty and staff from Cedarville University and local church ministry leaders will offer training seminars for leaders. Please periodically check the website as the Leader Workshop schedule will be posted!

Registration?

Collect the $20 registration fee from each student and sponsor participant. Add $5 for each t-shirt. Return the group registration form by Thursday, April 3, 2008 (for the April 12 date) or Thursday, October 2, 2008 (for the October 11 date) with your check made payable to Cedarville University or register online.

Please register early! We will limit attendance to the first 2,000 guests on each date.

Medical Release Forms

Bring a Cedarville University medical release form signed by a parent or guardian for each student who comes to Junior Jam. Print Medical Release now. These will be collected at registration. For students who bring the Cedarville medical release form, we will not require a registration card upon arrival. This will speed up your church's registration process. Thank you for your help in this matter!

**For churches that have their own medical release forms, we still require the Cedarville medical release as our registration form and as a release to care for student's medical needs during Junior Jam.

What to do next?

Request an information packet, then promote Junior Jam with your junior age students!

Print a copy of the Junior Jam promotional poster for your church.
