African-American: Lane Scholarship

Named in honor of Dr. Deforia Lane, nationally-known music therapist, distinguished African-American leader, and the first female African-American member of the Cedarville University Board of Trustees. This $2,000 renewable scholarship is awarded to African-American students with a minimum ACT of 25 (or an SAT of 1120, combined critical reading and math) and a minimum high school GPA (unweighted) of 3.0, in addition to the Faculty Scholarship. Students must earn a cumulative GPA of 3.2 at Cedarville to renew the scholarship.
