Centennial Library Scholarship Award in Library Science

This scholarshp was established by the Centennial Library faculty in 1999, through the generosity of a 1997 graduate of Cedarville University, to encourage and actively support the next generation of library and information specialists, and especially to encourage those who will fill the future library faculty ranks of Christian colleges and universities. The scholarship assists seniors at Cedarville or a graduate who plans to begin a graduate program in Library and Information Science within two years of graduating from Cedarville. This cash award will be made directly to the institution in which the recipient is enrolled for graduate study in library and information science. Recipients of this award are selected by the Library faculty; Contact Lynn Brock, Dean of Library Services for application information. On average, one to two scholarships of approximately $500 is awarded each year.
