David G. Canine Award

Established in 1987 by the Canine Family, this endowed one-time scholarship was created in loving memory and gratitude for the ministry of Rev. David Canine and his interest in the ministries of Cedarville University and Dallas Theological Seminary. Recipients must be graduating senior students with an acceptance letter to Dallas Theological Seminary and plan to attend at some time in the future. Recipients should demonstrate commitment to and capacity for completion of a Seminary program and a desire to enter a professional ministry career following Seminary graduation. He or she shall be a student demonstrating well rounded interest and ministry involvement, a heart for evangelism and a grade point average of 3.0 or above. The Dean and faculty of the School of Biblical and Theological Studies select the recipients.
