Donna Purple Memorial Award in Education
This award was established in 2001 by the friends and family of Donna Purple to honor her memory and to assist students preparing for a career in education. The recipient must be a full-time junior or senior student pursuing a degree in education, preferably middle childhood education, with a minimum GPA of 3.3. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate financial need and who are struggling with or who have overcome severe illness. Recipients of this award are selected by the Education Department faculty, in consultation with the Director of Financial Aid. Students should submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) if interested in this scholarship.
