Doris E. Nevin Memorial Scholarship
Established in 2012 by Dr. L. Delyte Morris, this annually funded scholarship was created to assist rising Allied Health seniors preparing for a graduate program in physician assistant studies and to honor the memory of the grantor's wise and godly teacher, mentor, and friend, Doris E. Nevin. Her life, to its end reflected the attributes of Galatians 5:22-23. She taught, by example what it means to have a 'servant's heart'. Recipients must have a cumulative GPA of 3.45 or above and demonstrate a consistent Christian walk and involvement in Christian ministries. The chair of the Department of Kinesiology and Allied Health in consulation with the department faculty and director of financial aid select the recipients.
