Dorothy Hilma Leininger Nursing Scholarship
This endowed annual scholarship was established by Dr. Wayne E. Leininger in 1989 to honor his wife, Dorothy Hilma Leininger, in gratitude for her life and ministry. The award is granted to a full-time nursing student, sophomore or above, preparing to enter the nursing profession as a career missionary. The recipient demonstrates well-rounded interests and involvements, an exemplary Christian testimony, active Christian service, Christian principles, compassion and care for others, and financial need. Recipients of this scholarship are selected by the Chair and faculty of the Nursing Department. Students should submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) if interested in this scholarship.
