Dorothy Hilma Leininger Nursing Scholarship

Established in 1989 by Dr. Wayne E. Leininger, this endowed scholarship was created to honor his wife, Dorothy Hilma Leininger, in gratitude for her life and ministry and to assist a full-time nursing sophomore, junior or senior student preparing to enter the nursing profession as a career missionary. The recipient demonstrates well-rounded interests and involvements, an exemplary Christian testimony, active Christian service, Christian principles, compassion and care for others, and financial need. Students should submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) if interested in this scholarship. The chair and faculty of the school of nursing select the recipients.
