Dr. L. Nelson Bell Memorial Scholarship

Established in 2016 by Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Ridge, this annually-funded scholarship was created to honor the life and ministry of Dr. L. Nelson Bell by assisting Cedarville University sophomore, junior or senior students pursuing a bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies. The grantors personally experienced how Dr. Bells life and ministry reflected James 3:17-18, But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace. Recipients must demonstrate financial need, be actively involved in Christian ministries and be in preparation for the role of senior pastor. The Dean of the School of Biblical and Theological Studies, under consultation of the Director of Financial Aid, select the recipients.
