Frances Varey Banks Nursing Award

Established in 2009 by Herbert and Judith Shrubsole, this endowed scholarship was created to recognize the academic achievements of students pursuing a master of science of nursing degree with a global health ministry concentration. Recipients must be pursuing a master of science of nursing degree with a global health ministry concentration, have at least one year of study remaining in their academic program, and have a cumulative grade average of 3.8 or above on a 4.0 scale. Preference will be given to students who are not citizens of the United States and who hold an F-1 student visa. The Department of Nursing Faculty will select the recipients.
