George W. and Rita D. King Scioto County Scholarship Fund

Established in 2005 by George and Rita King, this endowed scholarship was created to encourage and assist deserving students with demonstrated financial from Scioto County, Ohio, pursuing a degree at Cedarville University. In recognition of Rita King's long and distinguished career at Minford High School as both teacher and mentor; Rita King's service to the residents of Scioto County as an EMT; and George and Rita King's history of living in Scioto County and supporting and contributing to the quality of life of other residents; first preference will be given to students who are graduates of any high school in Scioto County, Ohio. An additional preference will be given to students who are enrolled in either the pre-Pharmacy or graduate Pharmacy programs. Secondary preference will be given to students who are graduates of any high school in Ohio, with geographic preference given to Southern Ohio. Final preference will be given to students in good standing with the University pursuing a degree in any academic program.
