Gray-Paxson Scholarship

Established in 1997 by Clarence '37 and Rachel Gray, this endowed scholarship was created to attract high achieving students to careers of teaching in the public school system by providing significant assistance in achieving a Cedarville education and appropriate teaching credentials. Recipients must be full-time students in the School of Education preparing to teach on the primary or secondary level in the public school system. Recipients must demonstrate exceptional academic ability and personal courage in standing for the Word of God. Primary consideration for new awards will be given to freshman students and secondary consideration for new awards will be given to junior and senior students. The Dean of the School of Education and other faculty select the recipient.
