Harold P. "Howdy" House Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1983 by Calvary Baptist Church of Byesville, OH in loving memory of their pastor, Harold P. "Howdy" House. The scholarship assists a full-time junior or senior Bible student with financial need who intends to be a pastor or missionary and has previous preaching experience. The recipient must have a GPA of 2.0 or above. Preference is given to members of Calvary Baptist Church, then residents of Guernsey County, Ohio, and finally residents of Coshocton. A recommendation from a pastor must be provided. Students should also submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) if interested in this scholarship. The Director of Financial Aid selects the recipient.
