Heyd Math/Science Award
Established in 2001 by David and Jean Heyd, this endowed one-time scholarship was created in honor of their parents, Charles and E. LaRue Wilcox and Elmer and Kathy Heyd, to encourage and assist deserving University students. Recipients must be full-time rising sophomore or junior students who are pursuing a degree within the Department of Science and Mathematics. Recipients must demonstrate a balance between devotion and service to God and diligence in their academic studies. Financial need is not required but may be considered. Candidates should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA) if interested in the scholarship. The Department of Science and Mathematics faculty select the recipients.
