James Cain Special Education Award
Dr. Cheryl Irish, Cedarville University Education professor, and her husband, James, established this scholarship in 2004 in loivng memory of Cheryl's father, James Cain. Recipients of this award must be full-time special education majors. Recipients must have completed at least one year at Cedarville. The award will go to a student who has demonstrated a heart for teaching children with special needs. Preference will be given to students who are involved with extracurricular activities that minister to special needs children and their families, who demonstrate financial need, and/ or students who have served in the military or whose parents have served in the military. Students should submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) if interested in this scholarship.
