James R. Phipps Communication Award

Established in 1999 by the department of communication arts faculty, this annually funded scholarship was created to honor Communication Arts chair James R. Phipps '68 and to assist an outstanding full-time junior or senior communication arts major who exemplifies the values of the department, including community involvement and Christian ministry. The media and applied communications faculty select the recipients.
