Kettering Medical Center Sponsorship and Grant

Kettering Medical Center (KMC) established this scholarship in 2003 to assist junior or senior year nursing students who intend to pursue a full-time career in nursing after graduation. Recipients must maintain a 3.0 GPA or above. Preference will be given to students demonstrating financial need according to the criteria established by KMC and the university's Director of Financial Aid. Students accepting the sponsorship portion of the scholarship will agree to employment terms with KMC upon graduation. Students should submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) if interested in this scholarship. A sponsorship application must also be completed and submitted to the Financial Aid office no later than April 1st. The Financial Aid Director, Nursing Department Chair, and KMC representatives select the recipients.
