Morley R. Halsmith Memorial Scholarship
This award was established by J. Debra Halsmith to honor the life and ministry of her husband, Morley Halsmith, and to assist students in the Church Music Ministries program. The recipient must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3 and is planning a full-time career in church music ministry. The Recipient must be a junior student in good standing with the university. The student must demonstrate exceptional musical and spiritual leadership abilities. Recipients of this award are selected by the Music Department faculty.
