Ormsbee Family Scholarship
The Ormsbee family established the scholarship to honor the memory of their parents/grandparents, Marcus and Ethel Ormsbee. Recipients must be sophomore or junior students in good standing with the University pursuing a major from the Education Department or the School of Biblical and Theological Studies. Preference will be given to students demonstrating the greatest financial need. Secondary preference will be given to students who are, at the time of selection, members of a music group in the Music Department or the Christian Ministries Division, including MIS Music teams. Recipients must have a cumulative GPA between 2.5-3.2 on a 4.0 scale. The Director of Financial Aid selects the recipient. Students should submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) if interested in this scholarship.
