Raymond P. Holland, Jr. Engineering Excellence Award
Stephen and Linda Nelson established this scholarship in 2003 to honor Linda's father, Raymond P. Holland, Jr, an aeronautical engineer whose passion for flight and creative aircraft designs helped advance aviation. The scholarship assists a full-time sophomore or junior engineering major who exhibit excellence, creativity, dedication and common sense in their studies and application of engineering principles. Recipients must have a 3.3 GPA or above. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate financial need. It is recommended that students submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) if interested in this scholarship. Recipients of this award are selected by departmental faculty and the Financial Aid Director.
