Raymond P. Holland, Jr. Engineering Excellence Award
Established in 2003 by Stephen and Linda Nelson, this annually funded scholarship was created to honor Linda's father, Raymond P. Holland, Jr, an aeronautical engineer whose passion for flight and creative aircraft designs helped advance aviation. The scholarship assists a full-time sophomore or junior engineering major with a 3.3 GPA or above who exhibits excellence, creativity, dedication and common sense in their studies and application of engineering principles. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate financial need. Candidates should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) if interested in this scholarship. The school of engineering and computer science faculty and the director of financial aid select the recipients.
