Raymond P. Holland, Jr. Engineering Excellence Award

Established by 2003 by Stephen and Linda Nelson, this annually funded one-time scholarship was created to honor Lindas father, Raymond P. Holland, Jr., an aeronautical engineer whose passion for flight and creative aircraft designs helped to advance aviation. Recipients must be full-time rising sophomore or junior engineering students who exhibit excellence, creativity, dedication, and common sense in their studies and application of engineering principles. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate financial need. Candidates should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) if interested in this scholarship. The Elmer W. Engstrom Department of Engineering and Computer Science faculty and the Director of Financial Aid select the recipients.
