Reverend Michael Holt Memorial Scholarship
Deborah Holt '87 established this scholarship in 2006 to honor her late husband, Rev. Michael Holt. The scholarship assists a senior student in the Biblical Education department who is preparing for a career in the pastorate and who holds a 3.3 GPA or above. Recipients must exhibit attributes that reflect the life ministry of Rev. Michael Holt including integrity and steadfastness, passion of Biblical study, and a zeal for preaching. Preference will be given to a married or non-traditional student. While not required, financial need may be considered . Recipients are selected by Bible Department faculty. Completion of the FAFSA is recommended but not required.
