Salt and Light Scholarship
Established by Lawrence '81 and Deborah '80 Seawell in 2005, this endowed scholarship assists students pursuing a bachelor's degree under the Department of Business Administration or the Department of Communication Arts. Recipients must have completed at least one year at the University and have a cumulative GPA of 3.3. Recipients must exhibit an exceptional commitment to integration of Biblical thought and practice into their academic discipline. Students must complete an essay application explaining how they plan to integrate Biblical thought and practice into their academic discipline and career. Completion of the FAFSA is recommended but not required. The Business Administration faculty and Communication Arts faculty will select the recipients. Two to four scholarships are awarded per year ranging from $2000-$3000.
