Sandra W Harner Technical and Professional Communication Awd

Established in 2008 by Sandra Harner '64, this annually funded scholarship was created to assist exceptional students preparing for a career in technical and professional communication. Recipients must be pursuing a degree in an academic major in technical and professional communication, have at least one year of study remaining in their program, demonstrate financial need, and have a cumulative grade average of 3.3 or above on a 4.0 scale. Candidates must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) if interested in this scholarship. The Chair of the Department of Media and Applied Communications will assign departmental faculty to make the annual selection in concert with the director of financial aid.
